This policy explains what WorldFoodPedia collects, why, and what you can do about it. You can read every dish and recipe without an account; we collect personal data only when you sign in or post.

Account: if you sign in with Google we store your Google account ID, display name and email address, to show your name on your recipes and comments and to contact you about your content. We do not sell or rent this data.

Your content: we store the recipes, photos, comments, likes, ratings and reports you post. Recipes and comments are public; reports are not.

Cookies: we set a session cookie to keep you signed in, and your theme and shopping-region choices are saved only in your browser. Cloudflare (our host) processes IP addresses for security and Turnstile to block spam.

Advertising: once ads are enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s advertising cookies let it and its partners serve ads based on those visits. You can opt out of personalized advertising at https://adssettings.google.com, or opt out of many third-party vendors at https://www.aboutads.info.

Retention and deletion: we keep account data and posts while your account exists. Email contact@(domain pending) to download or delete your account and content; we delete them within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep a record.

Children: the site is not directed at children under 14, and they should not create an account.

Changes: we post any change to this policy on this page with a new date.
