Steps
Translated from the Korean original. Amounts are as in the original recipe.
- Slice the beef thick, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and let it rest.
- Cut the head off the ginseng, wash it, and cut about 2 cm thick; cut the pineapple and bell pepper thick; prepare the shiitake mushrooms, green onion, and tomato; and cut the bacon into 2 cm lengths.
- Grill the pineapple and bell pepper first in a pan without oil.
- Lightly oil the cut ginseng and grill it.
- Slice and grill the garlic, then thread the prepared ingredients onto skewers in order and grill in a frying pan or over a direct flame.
- Mix the citron syrup with the low-sodium soy sauce, lemon, and sugar, and pour it over the grilled beef skewers to finish.
💡 TipUsing a citron sauce instead of a soy sauce or gochujang sauce reduces the sodium.
