Steps

Translated from the Korean original. Amounts are as in the original recipe.

  1. Cut the dried radish greens into 1cm lengths.
  2. Coarsely chop the low-sodium cheonggukjang (fermented soybean paste).
  3. Coarsely chop the green and red chili peppers and the shrimp meat as well.
  4. Over heat, mix the prepared cheonggukjang, dried radish greens, and green and red chili peppers with acorn flour, wheat flour, water, and egg into a thick batter.
  5. Add cooking oil to a pan and pan-fry the batter.
  6. Place the shrimp meat on top of the batter and cook the pancake.
💡 TipStore-bought cheonggukjang is high in salt, so make your own cheonggukjang at home without adding salt.
