Steps
Translated from the Korean original. Amounts are as in the original recipe.
- Boil the spaghetti in boiling water with salt for about 10 minutes, drain, and lightly coat with olive oil.
- Peel the button mushrooms and slice them.
- Coarsely chop the garlic and onion.
- Blanch the clams in boiling water, rinse off any grit, and strain the cooking water through cheesecloth to make the broth.
- Melt butter in a pot, stir-fry the minced garlic and onion, then add the flour and gently stir-fry.
- Pour the broth (4) over the stir-frying vegetables (5) and bring to a boil, add the milk and heavy cream, and when it boils again add the shrimp and boiled clams and boil briefly. Add the cooked spaghetti (1), boil once more, and lightly sprinkle with dried parsley to finish.
💡 TipIf you strain the water the clams were boiled in and use it as broth, no separate salt is needed.
