Steps

Translated from the Korean original. Amounts are as in the original recipe.

  1. Boil the spaghetti for about 10 minutes, drain, rinse in cold water, drain well, and coat with olive oil.
  2. Spread the beef out into wide slices and season with soy sauce, sugar, and garlic.
  3. Grill the seasoned beef in a pan and put it on a napkin to drain the oil.
  4. Cut the perilla leaves, onion, and bell pepper into long thin strips.
  5. Add oil to a pan and, when the pan is hot, quickly stir-fry the onion.
  6. Add sugar, vinegar, and low-sodium soy sauce to the prepared broth and chill it in the refrigerator. Put the spaghetti in a bowl, top with the stir-fried onion, perilla leaves, bell pepper, and grilled beef, and pour in the cold broth to finish.
💡 TipThe seasoned grilled beef goes well with the sweet-and-sour broth, lowering the sodium.
