Steps

Translated from the Korean original. Amounts are as in the original recipe.

  1. Rinse the seaweed stems several times under running water and soak them in cold water for about 1 hour.
  2. Cut the seaweed stems into bite-size pieces, cut the onion into thin strips, and separate the crab sticks into strands.
  3. Briefly blanch the crab sticks in boiling water, drain, and remove the moisture.
  4. Mix the batter ingredients evenly, then add the prepared ingredients and mix roughly.
  5. Heat a pan over medium heat with avocado oil, spoon on the batter in suitable-size portions, and top with dried shrimp.
  6. When the batter turns opaque, flip it and cook until golden on both sides to finish.
💡 Tip- Soaking the seaweed stems in water and blanching the crab sticks reduces the sodium content. - Onion provides sweetness and reduces added sugar.
