Steps
Translated from the Korean original. Amounts are as in the original recipe.
- Wash the chicken clean and cut it into several pieces.
- Toss the cut chicken in curry powder and starch.
- Cut the onion, carrot, bell pepper, and cucumber into small cubes.
- Oil a pan and lightly stir-fry the minced garlic, then mix in the low-sodium soy sauce, lemon juice, sugar, honey, and stir-fried garlic.
- Mix the cut onion, carrot, bell pepper, cucumber, and ketchup into the yogurt.
- When the frying oil reaches 170 C, add the coated chicken (2) and fry twice, drain the oil, lightly toss in the sauce from (4), put on a plate, and top with the prepared yogurt sauce (5) to finish.
💡 TipWith the fresh yogurt sauce and curry coating, you can enjoy tasty dak gangjeong without adding any separate salt to the chicken.
