Steps

Translated from the Korean original. Amounts are as in the original recipe.

  1. Soak the pork ribs in water to thoroughly remove the blood.
  2. Slice the red chili pepper on the diagonal and stir-fry it in a pot.
  3. Add the bloodless pork ribs to the pot with the red chili pepper and stir-fry.
  4. Grate the pear, mince the green onion, garlic, and ginger, and mix evenly with the soy sauce, oligosaccharide syrup, sugar, pepper, and soju to make the seasoning sauce.
  5. Cut the apple, jujubes, chestnuts, cucumber, onion, carrot, and radish into square cubes.
  6. Add the seasoning sauce (4) and water to the stir-fried ribs (3) and gently braise. When a little liquid remains, add the prepared fruit and vegetables (5) with the sesame oil and braise once more to finish.
💡 TipThe sweet-and-sour taste of apple and pear, together with jujube and ginger, keeps the flavor up even with less soy sauce.
