Steps

Translated from the Korean original. Amounts are as in the original recipe.

  1. Wash the green garlic well and cut into 5 cm lengths.
  2. Soak the green garlic in water for about 30 minutes to remove the pungent taste.
  3. Cut the squid into 1 cm x 5 cm pieces.
  4. Mix the flour and water and cook over low heat into a paste, then cool.
  5. Add all the remaining seasoning ingredients to the paste and mix.
  6. Toss the green garlic and squid in the seasoning and eat right away or lightly fermented.
💡 TipAdding flour to sour green garlic kimchi and pan-frying it makes tasty pancakes without any other ingredients.
