Steps
Translated from the Korean original. Amounts are as in the original recipe.
- Soak the oats, then boil them in chicken stock.
- Trim the broccoli well and chop it finely.
- Julienne the onion and stir-fry in butter, then add the broccoli from step 2, the oats and the sliced almonds and stir-fry together.
- When somewhat stir-fried, add the milk and stir-fry once more.
- Add the chicken stock and cook until the oats are tender, then blend in a blender and strain through a sieve.
- Finally, add the heavy cream to adjust the thickness and finish with the green tea powder on top.
💡 TipChicken stock boosts savory flavor so even with less salt the dish still tastes good, and the nutty richness of butter, heavy cream and milk helps reduce sodium.
