Steps

Translated from the Korean original. Amounts are as in the original recipe.

  1. Trim the beef sirloin, tenderize it by pounding gently with the back of a knife, cut into 4cm lengths, and marinate in the marinade for about 30 minutes.
  2. Cut the cucumber into 0.2cm-thick rounds, lightly salt them, and squeeze out.
  3. Peel the pear, remove the seeds, and cut into 0.2cm-thick half-moon slices.
  4. Add cooking oil to a pan, lightly stir-fry the cucumber over high heat, and pan-fry the pear until golden.
  5. Pan-fry the marinated beef sirloin in a pan and make a vinegar soy sauce.
  6. Top the golden pear with the sirloin, cucumber, and ground pine nuts, wrap lightly, and dip in the low-sodium vinegar soy sauce.
💡 TipThe meat is marinated only with wine and black pepper, with no salt. For the low-sodium vinegar soy sauce, reduce the soy sauce by about 1/5 and add apple juice in place of the reduced soy sauce, then drizzle it over the meat.
