Steps
Translated from the Korean original. Amounts are as in the original recipe.
- Wash the oats clean and soak in water.
- Wash the rice and soak it separately.
- Finely slice the onion and chives.
- Add sesame oil to a pot and stir-fry the beef first.
- Add the soaked oats and rice to the stir-frying pot and stir-fry.
- When the oats are well stir-fried, add water and boil, then add the sliced vegetables and boil until the porridge comes together. Beat in the egg and keep stirring as it boils, and top the porridge with black sesame seeds to finish.
💡 TipOats and egg add nuttiness, which replaces saltiness.
