Steps
Translated from the Korean original. Amounts are as in the original recipe.
- Peel the potato and cut it into fine julienne strips, then soak in water with a little vinegar to prevent browning.
- Add the flour and baking powder to the egg white and whisk so no lumps form.
- Add the garlic powder and black pepper and mix well to make the batter.
- Drain the cut potato in a sieve, then remove all the moisture with paper towels and mix it into the prepared batter.
- Add cooking oil to a pan, pour in the batter, spread it into rounds about 6cm in diameter, and pan-fry until golden on both sides.
- Simmer seasonal fruits such as cherries, apple, and green grapes in sugar water and serve with the pancakes.
💡 TipIf you like the aroma of garlic, you can use chopped fresh garlic instead.
