Steps

Translated from the Korean original. Amounts are as in the original recipe.

  1. Wash the glutinous rice well and soak it for about 30 minutes.
  2. Put the soaked glutinous rice in a pot and cook it soft.
  3. Spread the chicken breast out flat and sprinkle with salt and black pepper.
  4. Blanch the pumpkin leaves and water dropwort briefly in boiling water; pit the jujubes by cutting around the seed, and remove the head of the ginseng and julienne it.
  5. Place the chicken breast on the blanched pumpkin leaves.
  6. On top of the chicken breast, put the glutinous rice, the prepared vegetables, and the jujubes, roll up, put the rolls into the soft glutinous rice, and steam for about 20 more minutes.
💡 TipUsing easily digestible glutinous rice gives a chewy texture, and you can enjoy the nutty flavor without any separate sauce.
