Steps

Translated from the Korean original. Amounts are as in the original recipe.

  1. Boil the green onion, radish, and kelp in water to make a broth.
  2. Add the bonito flakes to the broth, let them settle for about 10 minutes, then strain.
  3. Peel and wash the shrimp thoroughly, and rub the clams clean.
  4. Finely mince the prepared shrimp and clams.
  5. Mix the minced shrimp and clams evenly with the egg white and starch to form meatballs, and roll them lightly in a frying pan so they keep their shape.
  6. Add the meatballs to the prepared broth and cook until done, transfer to a bowl, and top with diagonally sliced red and green chili peppers.
💡 TipShrimp and clams give a refreshing broth with natural umami, so no extra seasoning is needed.
