Steps
Translated from the Korean original. Amounts are as in the original recipe.
- Cut the beef into rectangles about 6cm long, 2cm wide, and 0.5cm thick, then marinate with starch and soy sauce.
- Mince the ginger, peel the orange and cut out only the segments, and peel and core the pineapple and cut into 0.5cm dice.
- Mix the orange juice, oyster sauce, honey, and starch to make the sauce.
- Toast the sesame seeds in a dry pan without oil and let cool, then oil the pan and cook the marinated beef evenly on both sides.
- Add the sauce to step 4 and boil while stirring, and when it starts to thicken, add the orange and pineapple and cook briefly.
- Place step 5 on a plate and sprinkle with sesame seeds just before serving.
💡 TipIf fresh pineapple is added to meat without cooking, it makes the meat too tender and gives an unwanted texture, so cook it first.
