Steps

Translated from the Korean original. Amounts are as in the original recipe.

  1. Cut the mung bean jelly into 4 cm lengths and lightly toss with sesame oil and salt.
  2. Separate the egg into yolk and white, mix a little salt into each, and make thin omelet sheets.
  3. Rotate-cut the cucumber into thin strips, cut the carrot into strips the same length as the cucumber, trim the bracken to length, and cut the shiitake mushrooms into thin strips.
  4. Cut the beef into thin strips and season with green onion, garlic, sesame oil, and pepper.
  5. Oil a pan and stir-fry the prepared side vegetables (3) and the ground beef separately, ingredient by ingredient.
  6. Mix the soybean powder into the gochujang, add the stir-fried beef and stir-fry again to make the gochujang sauce. Put the rice in a bowl, top with the mung bean jelly (1), the stir-fried vegetables and beef (5), and finally the gochujang sauce to finish.
💡 TipThe gochujang sauce mixed with soybean powder gains a nutty taste, which lowers the sodium.
