Steps
Translated from the Korean original. Amounts are as in the original recipe.
- Put the broth ingredients in a pot and boil for about 10 minutes, then strain through a sieve to make the broth.
- Julienne the onion, slice the chili pepper on the diagonal, and finely chop the tomato.
- Cut the pork into 1.5cm cubes and remove the blood.
- Pour the broth into a pot, add the chopped tomato, minced garlic and basil powder, and boil.
- When thickened, add the sugar and pork. When the meat is cooked, add the julienned onion, diagonally sliced cheongyang chili pepper and the cherry tomatoes with stems removed.
- Boil until the skins of the cherry tomatoes peel off, and finish by adding the ground black pepper.
💡 TipTomatoes contain 270mg of potassium per 100g, which helps excrete sodium. Cheongyang chili pepper and minced garlic add a spicy kick so less salt is needed.
