Steps

Translated from the Korean original. Amounts are as in the original recipe.

  1. Scale the flounder and fillet it.
  2. Sprinkle the prepared flounder with lemon and rice wine and let it rest.
  3. Add lemon juice, wasabi, and balsamic sauce to the low-sodium soy sauce to make a sauce.
  4. Shape the carrot and zucchini into balls with a melon baller.
  5. Steam the carrot, zucchini, and cauliflower in a steamer with rising steam for about 5 minutes.
  6. Grill the eggplant and bell pepper in a pan, and grill the rested flounder in a pan too; place on a plate, add the steamed vegetables, and top with the sauce.
💡 TipSteaming the vegetables reduces nutrient loss, and adding lemon juice to the low-sodium soy sauce lowers the sodium content.
