Steps

Translated from the Korean original. Amounts are as in the original recipe.

  1. Mix the minced garlic, salt, pepper, and mirin into the ground beef and let it rest.
  2. Cut the mini kabocha squash in half, scoop out the seeds, steam for about 15 minutes, and scrape out the flesh.
  3. Mix the heavy cream evenly into the scraped squash flesh.
  4. Cut the button mushrooms, onion, carrot, bacon, and ham into squares, and remove the seeds from the green pepper and bell pepper and cut into squares.
  5. Stir-fry the rested beef (1), bacon, and ham in olive oil, then add the cut vegetables and stir-fry together.
  6. Fill the hollowed kabocha squash (2) with the prepared squash flesh (3) and the stir-fried ham and vegetables (5), top with mozzarella cheese, bake in the oven for about 5 minutes, and lightly sprinkle with dried parsley to finish.
💡 TipUsing the squash as the dough raises the nutrition and lowers the sodium.
