Translated from the Korean original. Amounts are as in the original recipe.
- Sift the glutinous rice flour and divide it into 2 portions.
- Knead the glutinous rice flour with hot water infused with omija and gardenia (ikban-juk), put it in a plastic bag, and let it rest.
- Pit the jujubes and mince them finely; mix with the candied citrus peel, yuzu syrup, and honey to make the filling.
- Mix the candied citrus peel and honey to prepare the filling.
- Shape the dough into 3 cm diameter balls, press in the filling, and roll them round again.
- Coat them with starch and put them into boiling water; when they float, remove, rinse in cold water, drain, place in a bowl, pour in honey water, and top with pine nuts.
💡 TipOmija, which has five flavors, is included, so you can make this dish without salt.
