Steps
Translated from the Korean original. Amounts are as in the original recipe.
- Wash the sea lettuce, drain in a sieve to remove the moisture, and chop finely.
- Boil the yellow soybeans, soaked in water for about 5 hours, in half a cup of water for about 10 minutes, drain, and blend finely in a blender.
- Mince the green onion and slice the red chili pepper on the diagonal.
- Add steps 1 and 2 and 20 g of water to the flour to make a batter.
- Heat brown rice oil in a pan, drop in the batter, and fry into rounds about 8 cm in diameter, decorating the top with red chili pepper.
- Make a vinegar soy sauce with soy sauce, green onion, vinegar, and sesame seeds and serve with the sea lettuce bean pancakes.
💡 TipSoaking the yellow soybeans thoroughly in water uses less fuel and makes them blend well.
