Steps
Translated from the Korean original. Amounts are as in the original recipe.
- Mash the tofu with the back of a knife, wrap it in cheesecloth, and squeeze out the moisture.
- Finely mince the shrimp, garlic chives, and shiitake mushrooms.
- Add the minced shrimp, garlic chives, shiitake mushrooms, salt, and black pepper to the tofu to make the filling.
- Put 10 g of filling on each dumpling wrapper, let the shrimp tail stick out, and pinch closed.
- Line a steamer with damp cheesecloth, add the dumplings, and steam for 7 minutes.
- Serve with the dipping sauce.
💡 TipChopping the shrimp with a knife keeps a chewy bite and gives a good texture. - Leftover napa cabbage kimchi, minced, also tastes good in the filling.
