Steps

Translated from the Korean original. Amounts are as in the original recipe.

  1. Peel half of the prepared shrimp, remove the innards, and mince finely.
  2. Remove the innards and shells from the remaining shrimp, split them about 2/3 of the way in half, and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Mix the minced shrimp with the beef, add the garlic, and let the seasoning soak in thoroughly.
  4. Blanch the broccoli, cool it, and chop it; chop the carrot and onion, lightly brine them in salt, and remove the moisture.
  5. Add the prepared vegetables (4) to the seasoned ingredients (3), loosen the starch and egg, and mix evenly.
  6. Lightly sprinkle the split shrimp with starch, shape the mixture (5) into meatballs and place them on the shrimp, and steam in a steamer for about 10 minutes to finish.
💡 TipChopped shrimp, rich in calcium and taurine, makes the dish tasty with little sodium, which reduces the sodium content.
