Steps

Translated from the Korean original. Amounts are as in the original recipe.

  1. Mix the low-sodium soy sauce, vinegar, and water (10 ml), add thinly sliced red onion, and pickle for 30 minutes to make onion pickle (yangpa jangajji).
  2. Blend the tofu, fresh shrimp, enoki mushrooms, carrot, perilla leaves, and bell pepper in a blender until smooth.
  3. Lightly stir-fry the ground beef in a pan over medium heat, then mix it with the blended ingredients, potato starch (45 g), and egg whites to make the filling.
  4. Trim both ends of the zucchini, hollow out the inside, and coat the inside evenly with potato starch (5 g).
  5. Fill the zucchini with the filling and steam in a steamer for 8 minutes.
  6. Cut the zucchini sundae into 1 cm slices, place on a plate, and top with the onion pickle.
💡 TipServed with onion pickle, this zucchini sundae tastes good without any additional seasoning.
