Steps

Translated from the Korean original. Amounts are as in the original recipe.

  1. Wash the rice and konjac thoroughly and cook them together.
  2. Blanch and finely chop the spinach, finely chop the carrot and stir-fry it in a pan, and boil the egg and push only the yolk through a sieve.
  3. Toss the beef with soy sauce, sesame oil, scallion, garlic, corn syrup, and black pepper, then stir-fry.
  4. Stir-fry the anchovies with the oligosaccharide syrup, and season the rice lightly with salt and sesame oil.
  5. Mix the rice with the anchovies and the rice with the beef separately, and shape each into balls.
  6. Roll the shaped rice balls in the spinach, carrot, and egg yolk respectively.
💡 TipAdding sesame oil to the rice blends its nutty flavor with the natural flavors of the ingredients for a clean-tasting dish.
